    Uwe Baykowski

    An internationally established surveyor for modern and classic yachts, Uwe Baykowski is a trained master boatbuilder based in Strande near Kiel.

    Decades of sailing experience on the Baltic, the Mediterranean, the Atlantic and in the Caribbean, as well as in competitive racing, underpin his expertise in this field.

    Since 1987 Uwe Baykowski has worked worldwide as a consultant, owner's representative and sought-after expert witness for insurers, courts and private clients.

    Appointed and sworn by the Kiel Chamber of Commerce and Industry as an expert for the valuation of, and damage to, wooden pleasure craft – classic yachts in particular.

    Christian Dohrn

    A trained communications electronics technician and graduate naval architect, Christian Dohrn has worked since 2020 as a surveyor for watercraft of every kind.

    A passionate sailor and owner of boats from the 470 dinghy to keelboats, with sailing experience on the North Sea, the Baltic, the Mediterranean and in the Caribbean, his strength lies in yacht engineering.

    Since 2002 Christian Dohrn has worked at northern German shipyards as a Dipl.-Ing. in naval architecture and ocean engineering – from 2008 also as a certified International Welding Engineer – including on the new build of mega yachts.
