We assess damage for insurers, both as to cause and as to extent. In the event of a claim our work covers inspection of the yacht, full documentation, determination of the cause of the damage and an assessment of how much it amounts to. We also recommend appropriate repair measures and seek out quotations for the work.

This applies to hull claims (your own policy covers damage to your own boat), third-party liability claims as the party responsible (your own policy covers damage to someone else) and third-party liability claims as the injured party (someone else's policy covers damage to your boat).
